To this end, the Minister may appoint places of entry and quarantine, and require, by order, any measures for the purpose of treating a disease or pest or preventing the spreading thereof. Enforcement measures (e.g. seizure or destruction of plants) are established in case of infringement of the directions contained in any proclamation or given by an inspector (sects. 3-9). Further provisions concern the power of the Ministry to make orders for or with respect to any matter relating to: (a) the grading or packing of fruit and vegetables; and (b) the branding or labelling of coverings containing fruit, vegetables or other plants. Schedules 1 and 2 contain a list of types of fruit and a list of types of vegetables, respectively.
