Keyword Institution Land-use planning EIA Access-to-information Environmental planning Policy/planning Geographical area Asia and the Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, Oceania, South Pacific Abstract These Regulations implement provisions of the Planning Act 2002 in relation with: the Norfolk Island Plan and in particular powers of the executive member in relation with the environmental study required under subsection 9(3) of the Act; development control plans; development approvals; public consultation of plans; environment impact assessment; the Development Contributions Scheme; fees; and enforcement. For purposes of section 45 of the Act, these Regulations prescribe the use or development in Schedule 1. As for prescribed development, an environmental impact statement shall include: (a) the matters set out in Schedule 2; and (b) such other matters as are specified in the direction given under subsection 45(5) of the Act for the application for a prescribed development.
