Abstract

This Order provides general rules and specifies permitted development for articles 8(3)(a) of the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002. That provision empowers the Minister to grant, by Order, planning permission in respect of a class or classes of development specified in Schedule 2 Order. The Minister may give a direction that the permission shall not apply in respect of: (a) all or any development of the Part, class or paragraph; or (b) the change of use within the use class, specified in the direction. Some development concerns agricultural land as defined by the Protection of Agricultural Land (Jersey) Law 1964.
