Social policies removed tens of millions of Brazilians from poverty, improving their food security, access to education, health, energy and water, reducing child mortality and increasing life expectancy. By 2022, Brazil will have to expand and deepen its domestic policies to reduce inequalities, all order, affirmation of human rights and access to public goods - education, health, sanitation, housing, information and culture - through, and including, the expansion of employment and its protection. At the same time, it should expand its social cooperation programmes, in particular with neighbouring countries and Africa, and contribute financially and technically to strengthening its infrastructure, which is an indispensable condition for its development and poverty reduction.
