The Order specifies what these identification marks must contain, provides rules for removal and replacement of marks and deals with documentation necessary when pigs are moved. On receiving a notification, the Department may allocate a holding code. The Order also specifies the conditions whereby the Department may restrict the movement of a pig off a holding or restrict the movement of pigs onto or off a holding.
