Abstract

These Law, of 12 sections and one Annex, gives definitions and establishes conditions for the prohibition of pig production in Israel. Section (1) prohibits the growing and holding of pigs in Israel. Sec (2) this law will not have power on locations listed in the Annex.. Section (3) sets penalties to this law. Section (4) sets responsibilities and penalties to the owner of a place or a house the has been used for pig production.. Section (5) gives inspection and seizing powers to a policeman or anybody else sent by the Police Minister. Section (6) deals with pig seizing and elimination procedures. Section (7) provide with owner rights. Section (8) gives definitions. Section (9) the minister of Interior is responsible for this Law. Section (9) to (12) give general information.
