Entry into force notes
This Ordinance enters into force on 12 June 1999.
Abstract

At the outset the Ordinance contains a definition clause relating to various terms therein employed, such as "sty", "isolating sty", "breeding place ", etc. Then the Ordinance deals with issues such as hygienic requirements for pig styies, transportation of pigs, veterinary examination, inspection, etc. The Ordinance consists of 14 articles divided into 3 chapters and 6 Annexes.
