Abstract

These Regulations defined powers of inspectors appointed under section 18 of the Pig Industry Act in respect of the inspection of premises, i.e. any slaughter-house or bacon factory, any premises where pig carcasses or pig products are sold or any boarding-house, hospital, hotel, restaurant or school hostel and in respect of the request of the production of documents such as licences, books or registers on the slaughter or sale of pigs. When exercising any powers conferred by these Regulations, an inspector shall, if so required, produce a written authority from the Minister to exercise such powers. (4 regulations)
