Abstract

These Regulations regulate the classification, grading and marking of carcasses of pigs. Government Graders shall carry out grading at the slaughterhouse. Carcasses can be re-graded. Any person whose pigs have been classified and graded may appeal with Secretary of Agriculture in accordance with the Meat Marketing Regulations. The First Schedule specifies classes and grades of pig carcasses. The Second Schedule specifies roller marking for pig carcasses. The Third Schedule contains a form of pig carcass grading return.
