Abstract These Regulations, by adding a reference to new Commission Decision 2003/750/EC authorise a new method of grading the composition of pig carcases by using the apparatus known as "fully automatic ultrasonic carcase grading" ("AUTOFOM") and withdraw authorisation for use of the apparatus known as "Ultra-FOM". Use of AUTOFOM is in addition to the other methods specified in Commission Decision 88/234/EEC, as amended.
