Abstract

This Act provides for the establishment of the Pharmacy Council of Mauritius and for the regulation and control of the profession of pharmacist in Mauritius. “Pharmaceutical product” has the same meaning as in the Pharmacy Act and includes drugs for livestock and aquaculture. The Council shall, among other things, register pharmacists and establish a Code of Practice on standards of professional conduct and ethics and monitor compliance with such code.
