Abstract

This Act amends the Pharmacy and Poisons Act 1979 by amending sections 2 (interpretations), section 25 (restrictions on the importation of medicines) and the Third Schedule (consequential to repeal and replacement of section 25). It also repeals section 26 of the principal Act. Section 25 allows only medicines eligible for sale in specified countries to be placed on the market in Bermuda and requires importers of medicines to be registered.
