Abstract

This Act establishes the Pharmacy Board, a Trade and Therapeutics Committee, a Poisons Committee and Education Committee and regulates the manufacturing of and trade in pharmaceutical products and poisons. It shall apply also to veterinary medicines. A Government Pharmacist designated by the Minister shall act as Registrar of the Board. The Board shall, among other things, exercise control over the manufacture, importation, distribution, sale and possession of any drug, poison, dangerous drug and psychotropic substance and register approved pharmacists.
