Abstract

These Regulations, made by the Minister of Health and Social Welfare under section 123 of the Zanzibar Food, Drugs and Cosmetic Act, concern, among other things, the licensing of businesses regarding (sale of) poisons, animal drugs and pesticides. They also concern the control on importation of pharmaceutical products including animal drugs and the registration manufacture, storage, transportation, packaging and labelling, use, etc. of pesticides. The Regulations also prescribe fees for purposes of the Act.
