Abstract

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the minimum stock of petroleum and petroleum products. The Act enforces the Council Directive 2009/119/EC of 14 September 2009 imposing an obligation on Member States to maintain minimum stocks of crude oil and/or petroleum products. The text consists of 32 articles divided into 9 Parts as follows: Principles (1); Persons liable to store petroleum and storage obligation (2); Import and export (3); Storage (4); Reports, surveys and statistics (5); Inspection (6); Penalties (7); Obligatory stock on behalf of hydro power stations (8); Transitional and final provisions (9).
