Abstract

The present Regulations are made under the Petroleum Resources Removal Permit Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to permit exemption. Section 4 establishes that Sable Offshore Energy Producers are exempt form the removal permit requirements in the Act by virtue of their having entered into the Nova Scotia Petrochemical Supply Agreement that was approved by the Governor. The text consists of 5 sections.
