The Regulations principally provide rules relative to licensing of petroleum operations and define obligations and rights of licensees. Licences include: an exploration licence; an exploration and production (public petroleum rights) licence; an exploration and production (private petroleum rights) licence; a liquefaction of natural gas licence; a transportation licence by pipeline or other means of transport; a marketing licence; and a petrochemical licence.
