Abstract

The purpose of this Act is to regulate the distribution and sale of petroleum products within the Province of Prince Edward Island for use within the province, and the type, location and operation of facilities and equipment associated therewith. The Act regulates licences for the sale and distribution of such products (Part II) and also set the principles for pricing of petroleum products. Part V is dedicated to penalties for offences perpetrated under this Act and Part VI concerns investigations and complaints.
