Owners of land may lodge complaint with operators and if done so, the operator shall investigate the complaint together by a valuator approved by the Minister. The valuator shall calculate damage to crops in accordance with current Valuation of Crop Plant Schedules. If no agreement on compensation can be found, the Minister shall refer the matter to alternative dispute resolution.
