Abstract

Section 14 of the Petroleum (Exploration and Production) Act, 1991, is hereby amended by the addition of the following subsection, the existing section becoming the subsection (1): “(2) The Minister may, for the purposes of subsection 91), enter into agreements with licence holders providing for:(a) the implementation of training programmes referred to in that paragraph; and (b) the contribution of moneys to the trust known as the Petroleum Training and Education Fund, for promoting the objects of that trust.” Section 14 specifies conditions of a mining licence.
