Abstract

These Regulations, consisting of 45 sections divided into six Parts, regulate the system of mining exploration permits, retention leases and mining leases, prohibits the exploration and exploitation without permits and leases and provides for the reservation of titles in geothermal resources to the Crown. It is divided as follows: Part 1 Preliminary; Part 2 Environment plans; Part 3 Incidents, reports and records; Part 4 Environmental requirements; Part 5 Operators of activities; Part 6 Transitional provisions.
