The Minister may by Order, among other things: (a) impose specified prohibitions in relation to pesticides of a description specified in the Order; (b) provide for the approval of pesticides of any description; (c) provide for the imposition of conditions on an approval when or after it is given. The Minister may require information to be provided by importers, exporters, manufacturers, distributors or users of a pesticide as the Minister considers necessary and may, after consultation, issue codes of practice for purposes of this Law. The Law also defines offences and provides for inspection.
