Abstract

Only pesticides approved by the Pesticides Control Board may be manufactured, imported, distributed or used in Grenada. A person who desires a pesticide to be approved shall submit an application stating all information specified to the Board. The Board may dispense with all of some of the requirements for an application for pesticides previously approved in another Member State of the Carribean Community (reg. 3). Approval of pesticides shall be for three years or for a shorter time as the Board may decide (reg. 5). Manufacture or importation of approved pesticides requires a licences issued by the Board (reg. 7). If the Board refuses to approve a pesticide or to issue a licence, the affected person may apply to the Secretary for reconsideration of its decision by the Board (reg. 10). (12 regulations)
