Abstract In section 2 a new definition of “toxic chemical” is inserted and the old one cancelled. A definition of “exporter” is given. Section 3 is amended by making new provisions for the membership of the Pesticides and Toxic Chemicals Control Board and some other matters. Section 4A is amended in respect of export licences. Section 5 is amended so as to redefine the duties of the registrar in respect of supervision of inspectors. Section 6 is amended so as to allow designation of members of the veterinary Registration Board. Section 12, which provides for regulation making powers of the Minister, is amended so as to provide for the regulation of exportation of pesticides and toxic chemicals.
