A new subsection under section 17 is added as follows: No pesticide either registered or unregistered shall be imported or exported without a permit issued by the Board. Application for registration of pesticide, section 18, the amendment Act clarifies what are the information required by the Board. For importation of unregistered pesticide the Amendment Act adds to section 20 the requirement to provide information about (c) the active ingredient, formulation and purpose or use of the product; (d) the name and address of person or entity permitted to import the pesticide. Section 21, duration of registration, is repealed and replaced. A new section 25A and 25B are inserted and set rules concerning pesticide storage and transportation. Section 37, Disposal pesticide, as well is replaced by a new section. Other amendments include procedure for taking samples, record keeping, among others.
