Abstract This Act deletes, substitutes and makes minor amendments to several sections of the Pesticides Act, 1974. Section 2 lists new definitions. New sections have been inserted as follows: section 10A providing for registrants to inform the Board about adverse effects of pesticides; 14A dealing with research or experiment on unregistered pesticides synthesized in Malaysia; 35A defining the time when to commence analysis of any substance; 45A and 45B dealing with labels, sale and storage; 53A providing for the possession or use of unregistered pesticides and unapproved use of pesticides.
