This Act comes into operation on a day to be appointed by the Minister of Health and the Environment Minister jointly, by notice published in the Gazette.
Abstract

This Act provides rules relative to the importation, sale, use, transportation, handling, storage and disposal of pesticides and provides for control and enforcement. The purpose of this Act is to protect human health and safety and the environment.
