Abstract

This Act defines powers of inspection and enforcement of any person specially authorized by the Minister of Commerce as a pest control inspector of produce. Power of entry conferred by this Act shall include the power to fumigate for the purpose of eradicating or controlling pest infestation of produce and the power of condemnation of produce. The Act also defines the offence of obstruction of inspectors and grants powers to the Minister to make Regulations generally for the purposes of this Act in consultation with the Produce Inspection Board.
