It spells out which are the pests and nuisances covered by the Regulation (sects. 2 and 3) and makes provisions for inspections and quarantine. Under section 4, no person shall import, purchase, sell or otherwise dispose of, transport, distribute or plant any infestable item that is infested or any pest without the prior written authorization to do so (18 sections). The Regulation is completed by a schedule that contains models of the various forms related to pests’ control.
