Abstract

This Act provides that no person shall exhibit or train or cause or permit to be exhibited or trained for exhibition any animal of which (s)he is the owner or has the lawful custody or use any dog for safeguarding unless such person is the holder of a licence issued by a Magistrate. The holder of a licence shall not exhibit or train any animal or cause it to be exhibited or trained for exhibition or use any dog for safeguarding without a certificate authorising such exhibition. The Act provides also for measures of enforcement and defines offences and penalties.
