With regards to part 2, the district manager may refuse to issue a cutting permit, or may attach special conditions to the cutting permit under section 81 of the Forest Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 157. Section 81 is relevant when rights under the agreement are under suspension or the holder of the agreement: has failed to provide security or a deposit; perform an obligation under the agreement; or comply with a requirement of the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act or the regulations or the standards made under that Act. Part 3 of the Regulation deals with the procedures and grounds of rejecting an application for an agreement or permit.
