Abstract These By-laws sets forth provisions on the prohibition of taking or removal of any pasua from the reef, lagoon or ocean surrounding the island of Penrhyn for the export purposes, with the aim of protecting pasua in the island of Penrhyn. The Council may appoint an Enforcement Officer to be responsible for the enforcement of these By-laws. Their duties shall include carrying out investigations, making searches at any ports or airports, seizing all pasua found in the possession of any person, and assisting prosecutions.
