Abstract

This Act defines the right of proprietors any lot or parcel of the Pembroke marsh lands, situated in the rear of any other lot or parcel thereof, which adjoins the central canal, to make waterways through to canal. In case of disagreement between the proprietors the Minister may order a waterway to be made. Specified drainage works shall be reserved for general use and benefit of all the proprietors of the Pembroke Marshes, in the draining of their respective parcels of the said marshes. The Act prescribes a penalty for intentionally damaging of drainage works.
