Abstract

This Order declares the Pawpaw Ringspot Virus to be a notifiable plant pest within the meaning of the Plants (Quarantine) Act and the areas specified in the Schedule to be infected with this plant pest and to be infected areas within the meaning of the Act. The Order further introduces measures for the control of the disease including restrictions on the planting, replanting or cultivation of pawpaw plants in infected areas.
