The Act expands the jurisdiction of the Department of Lands and Natural Resources over all parks, recreation areas, and tourist sites of the Commonwealth of Northern Marianas Islands and gives authority to the Department to levy fines for violation of certain prohibited activities to be established by Rules and Regulations. This Act further provides that the funds shall be deposited into the respective sub-account of the Commonwealth Parks and Recreation Fund of the Senatorial District where the fine was collected.
