The Authority shall prepare a comprehensive plan for the development and utilisation of water resources and may frame schemes for purposes of irrigation and other water supply, flood control, land reclamation, and inland water navigation for the provinces. The plan and schemes shall be submitted for approval to the Government. The Authority shall also have certain powers under the Electricity Act of 1910.
