Abstract This Resolution consisting of 8 articles, aims at prohibiting the fisheries of turtles, marine mammals, and sharks. It is also forbidden to collect snails and sea turtle eggs and tamper with their breeding environments on the beaches of Kuwaiti islands and coasts, as well as to display and trade the mentioned animals or parts thereof in all markets, stores, and sales exhibitions in the State of Kuwait. All workers in the fishing activity, including companies, artisanal fishermen, or amateur fishermen, must release the captives of the living marine species mentioned and return them to their natural marine environment as soon as they accidentally fall into fishing nets and equipment and inform the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources. This Resolution does not apply to the aforementioned species in the case of scientific and research purposes, for which a special permit is issued by the PAAF.
