Abstract

This Act details out the process for obtaining licenses for persons who own livestock in the State. The Act also grants the State Government the power to make rules for the protection of livestock in the State such as conducting inspections and prescribing conditions based on which the licenses may be granted. Additionally, the Act provides for penalties for violating the provisions of the Act.
