An applicant shall be eligible for aid if the land on which organic farming is carried out is not less than 1 hectare. Aid is limited to 300 hectares per holding. Conditions of eligibility are specified in regulation 4. The application for aid shall be made in writing in accordance with provisions of regulation 5. "Organic farming" has the same meaning as in article 2(1)(a) of the mentioned Council Regulation.
