This Act enters into force on 1 January 2001.
Abstract

The present Act establishes conditions for the management of organic farming. The requirements for the production of organic foodstuffs are set out; rules for the certification on the origins of organic products and organic foodstuffs, as well as their labelling; quality control supervision are specified all in compliance with this law.
