The text provides for notification requirement for installations of any type of facility using water from public waters for storage, purification, cooling, heat generation or other purposes. The notification should be made to the Office for the Environment prior to the commencement of construction work along with stating the location and the type of water abstraction. The Office for the Environment is in charge of monitoring compliance with the provisions of the Water Rights Act and this Ordinance, inspection of installations and compliance of operation with the granted concession and permit.
