Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Introductory Law relating to the Federal Act on protection of waters of 7 May 1995. Article 1 establishes that the municipalities are responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of public water systems. The text consists of 19 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Purity of waters (II); Financing and contribution (III); Water abstraction (IV); Final provisions (V).
