Entry into force notes
The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 February 2001.
Abstract

The purpose of the present Ordinance is the enforcement of the federal legislation concerning the fight against animal diseases. Article 1 lists the various cantonal authorities entrusted with the aforementioned enforcement. The text consists of 26 articles divided into4 Parts as follows: Organization of the animal disease police (I); Trade in animals and animal products (II); Compensation payment (III); Penalties and final provisions (IV).
