It also covers the prescription and use of these medicines by veterinarians. The text provides conditions for the places that are used for veterinary pharmacy establishments, prescription of medicines, storage and examination of medicines. Article 12c provides for the Antibiogram Requirement and mandates veterinarians to conduct or ensure a bacterial sensitivity test (Antibiogram) when administering antibiotics or antibacterial medications.
