Abstract

The present Ordinance by the Federal Minister for Agriculture and Forestry, the Environment and Water Resources lays down provisions relating to producer organizations in fishery and aquaculture products. The Ordinance implements the Commission Regulation (EC) No. 696/2008 laying down detailed rules for the application of Council Regulation (EC) No. 104/2000 as regards the extension to non-members of certain rules adopted by producers' organisations in the fisheries sector. The text – consisting of 6 articles – deals with the following matters: sphere of application, competent authorities, reporting, duty to keep records and duty to tolerate and collaborate.
