Abstract The present Ordinance is made under the Cantonal Energy Law of 4 February 1991. In particular the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the rational use of energy. Article 3 establishes that the following shall be considered as renewable energies: a) hydropower from small hydropower plants; b) solar energy; c) geothermal energy; d) ambient heat; e) wind energy; f) biomass.
