Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Animal Disease Act of 11 April 2001 (BGBl. I p. 506) and the Council Directive 2000/75/EC laying down specific provisions for the control and eradication of bluetongue of 20 November 2000. The text consists of 9 articles as follows: Definition of terms (1); Omissis (2); Measures in case of suspected infection (3); Notification of disease outbreak (4); Measures in the event of an official statement of the disease outbreak (5); Provisions on restricted areas and observation areas (6); Repeal of measures (7); Penalties (8); Entry into force (9).
