This Ordinance comes into force on 1 September 2008.

Abstract

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the Introductory Law concerning the confederate legislation on environment and water protection. The text consists of 68 articles divided into 12 Parts as follows: Purpose (1); Waste and waste disposal sites (2); Contaminated locations (3); Damage and accident prevention (4); Protection of waters (5); Raw materials and soil (6); Urban waste (7); Air pollution (8); Noise protection (9); Further environment issues (10); Competences and proceedings (11); Transitional and final provisions (12). Four Annexes are enclosed.
