Abstract Article 1 of the present Ordinance establishes within the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery an Office to be named the “Agriculture, Food Safety and Fishery Office”. The Office assumes also the tasks and competences of the Veterinary Office, the Plant Office and the Fishery Office to be closed down as a result. Furthermore, the Agriculture Offices takes over the tasks and competences of the Animal Breeding Department within the Ministry, the Agriculture and Fishery Institute and the Seed and Planting Material Institute.
