Abstract The present Ordinance enforce the Ordinance on official cadastral survey of 30 March 1999. In particular, the Ordinance governs the coordination and responsibilities of the construction, operation and further development of the cantonal Spatial Data Infrastructure. The purpose of the Ordinance is : a) optimizing the use of spatial data by means of construction, management and development of the cantonal spatial data infrastructure;b) optimizing the exchange of data and ensuring spatial data by means of independent description of the spatial data according to Swiss legislation; c) optimizing the cooperation of the agencies involved.
